Coloring Page Inspiration – I Am The Storm

This coloring page, titled “I Am The Storm,” comes from the coloring book Empowered Woman: A Reflective Coloring Joural. It’s one of my favorite designs because it blends powerful words with bold, feminine imagery. When paired with the right color palette, the page transforms into a statement piece that feels both beautiful and fierce.

For this project, I worked with shades of pink, magenta, and soft greens against a deep black background. These tones balance strength with softness, creating a sense of bold empowerment while still feeling lush and artistic. If you’ve ever found yourself craving a palette that feels strong yet feminine, this one is perfect for your next creative session.

The process of coloring isn’t just about making something pretty – it’s a form of color therapy. Each shade you choose can shift your mood, inspire reflection, or give you a sense of calm. Pairing coloring with affirmations and journaling, as this book does, adds another layer of healing and self-discovery. The act of coloring the words “I Am The Storm” is more than filling in lines – it’s an affirmation of resilience and power.

To help you recreate this palette in your own projects, I’ve created two free downloads:

A PNG palette image with labeled hex codes for digital artists.
A printable A4 PDF with swatches and testing boxes for colorists.

You can grab both of these free resources below and use them for this page or any other creative project you’re working on.

If you’d like to color this page and many more like it - along with empowering affirmations and reflective journaling prompts, you can find Empowered Woman: A Reflective Coloring Journal available now on Amazon.
